Sumatra pure origin is grown in a micro-climate of the the tropical forests of the Gayo Highlands. The Gayo Highlands is an area on one of the ridges of the Bukit Barisan mountain range that runs along the island of Sumatra.
The Sumatra has a roundness and sweetness, with a long-lasting flavor that characterizes this complex and aromatic coffee with hints of dried fruit. Complex and Aromatic.
Cafés Richard was one of the first coffee roasters to develop a selection of Pure Origins. Pure Origin is a high-quality coffee sourced from one single estate or farm in a region in one country. The love and dedication of each producer pours into its production and can be traced back to the farm, so you know exactly where your coffee is from. The flavor from these pure origins depicts its origin, possessing characteristics of that specific area where the particular coffee was grown.
